Durango High School Principal Asserts School's Nearness to Achieving Top Status in Colorado

Amidst jubilant cheers and applause, Durango High School welcomed hundreds to its campus on Friday to honor the graduating class of 2024. Beyond the traditional accolades for academic excellence, the school proudly announced its ascent into the top echelons of high schools nationwide, as per U.S. News & World Report.

With a ranking of 1,906 out of 17,655 high schools in the nation, Durango School District 9-R heralded Durango High School's impressive achievement earlier this month. Principal Jon Hoerl lauded the resilience and adaptability of the Class of 2024, who navigated the challenges of COVID-19 and reshaped the high school experience.
